How's School Going?

Dear USD 417 Families, We are excited to introduce a new partnership that will enhance communication and keep you more connected to your child’s education. USD 417 has partnered with How’s School Going, an online platform designed to help parents and guardians easily answer the daily question: How’s school going?

With How’s School Going, parents can access gradebooks, testing data, attendance records, and other important information—all in one place. Students and teachers will also use the platform to track progress and engagement, creating a more connected and transparent learning experience.

Another great feature of this platform is that all three school buildings will now send their newsletters through How’s School Going. This means you’ll receive updates on school events, activities, and important announcements alongside real-time insights into your student’s academic progress.

We hope this tool makes staying informed easier and more convenient for our families. Our goal is to improve conversations around learning, ultimately leading to better outcomes for students.

To access the platform, visit HowsSchoolGoing.com, or wait for the first newsletter from your child’s principal, which will include a direct link. An app is also available for iPhone users in the Apple Store, while an Android version is currently in development.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us create the best learning environment for our students!

Sincerely,

Tyson Eslinger
